The CutTime program is what we use to help keep track of our student's instrument, repairs, and finances. It is also important to have parent information as well, to stay up to date with your child's needs via email and profile alike. Mass communication is a main operation for the CutTime profile, hence why we feel that every student and parents needs to be on CutTime.

To Start....we do the work for you!
We, the directors, will be registering each individual student and parent in the band program into our CutTime system. Once we have registered you, you will be receiving an email from a CutTime account. See below on "how to" with this whole process.

Parents:

Once here, fill out the password to your liking (picture being included, just in case you forget which requirements are needed for this password type). It will look like a "password reset" page - don't worry, that's the right page.

Then, you will have arrived at your CutTime Parent Portal. A few things to point out here:
1.) Make sure your child's information is correctly filled out to the extent that you want it to be. Click on the green "Update" button to see their profile. What we need at minimum is a correct email address that is non-nisd, and their student ID number to be correct. There will be a couple of items that you cannot correct (like student ID number, for instance). If any of these things are wrong, please send a director an email and we can get that fixed.
2.) The "News" section will always direct you towards the website newsletter (https://www.harlanhawkband.org/newsletters.html) where we facilitate all of our news weekly.
3.) Band Fees will be associated with the "Financial Obligations" section - see the videos below outlining all of this information!
4.) Required forms won't have much (as of now). See the https://www.harlanhawkband.org/volunteer.html for all of the immediate forms you will need.

Once here, you will want to create your User Name and Password. Write it down somewhere (or send it to your parents) so that you don't forget it!
Your Profile
First PortionThis is where you will be able to view your financial obligation in detail to the band program. The "News" and "Assignments" tabs won't be used for much - in fact, they may even just direct you to the places where those items can be found.

Top ProfileMake sure all information is correct. If there is anything here that you see is not correct, please email a director.

Bottom ProfileThe Address portions of your profile are not important - don't feel like you have to add that information if you don't want to. Phone Number is optional as well, but please leave the "remove me from receiving emails from this service" UNCHECKED. We want to be able to communicate with you!
